Drive the process without hesitation or fear

Saritha Henning was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2002. Thereafter she was in general practice for 15 years.  Her practising fields of law included: Civil Litigation, Insolvency, Commercial and Family law. Saritha holds a B Proc and an LLB degree from the University of South Africa. In 2016, Saritha joined Hunts, where she was heading up the Litigation Department and expanded her areas of practise to Labour law.

At the end of 2020, Saritha left the practice for a short period to consult.  In May 2021, she returned as practicing attorney. when she was appointed as the Head of Hunts.  She currently sits as representative on The Confederation of Associations in the Private Employment Sector (CAPES). Saritha is result driven and believes that with a concerted effort, solutions are seldom not found.

Tshego holds BA (Politics & International Relations) and LLB degrees respectively from Rhodes University and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2018. She joined Hunts in 2017 as a candidate attorney and is currently an associate in the Labour and Commercial Department. Her fields of practise include civil and commercial litigation, commercial drafting and labour law. Tshego is an ambitious and vibrant young woman with a passion for law and social justice, more especially access to legal resources for disenfranchised members of society. She is a firm believer that knowledge is power and that armed with knowledge people can change their narratives and be the authors of their own destinies.

Ephraim obtained his LLB degree from Wits in 2014. He is a litigation associate and was admitted as an attorney in 2019. Ephraim specialises in various fields of law which involve liquidations, insolvencies and labour disputes. He has worked alongside top legal minds who have represented financial institutions, liquidators, trustees, and major corporate entities. His most memorable period in practice to date has been his work at the Wits Law Clinic where he had an opportunity to give indigent individuals access to the courts.

Aamena obtained her Bcom law degree in 2015 and her LLB degree in 2018 and is currently studying towards her LLM degree. She is presently completing her articles of clerkship with Hunts Attorney’s in the commercial and litigation departments. Aamena specializes in various fields of law which includes Labour Law, Family Law, Cyber Law, Delictual Law, Intellectual Property Law, The law of Advanced Contracts as well as International Trade Law. She has worked with established legal minds whom have ignited her own passion for the law and drive for justice. She believes that to every problem lies a solution, if one is willing to think out of the box coupled with enthusiasm, passion and resilience.

Tshilidzi Daisy Nemutanzhela

In addition to holding a BA Law degree (2019), Daisy obtained an LLB degree (2021), which she began studying towards whilst on the verge of completing the former. She was awarded a distinction for her final year dissertation topic: “The delayed development of the common law”. At present, she is undergoing her articles of clerkship at Hunt’s Attorneys in the Commercial and Labour departments. Daisy is outspoken, driven and is always willing to face a challenge head on.

Alma obtained her LLB degree from the University of South Africa in 2017.  She conducted her articles at Cawood Attorneys in Pretoria and was admitted as an attorney in 2020. Her fields of practice include civil litigation, commercial drafting and insolvency law. Alma is well organised, passionate and hard working. Alma has always believed hard work beats talent every day.

After completing her National Diploma in Law from the University of Johannesburg Yolandi made a career change and moved into the legal field.  She joined Hunts (Inc. Borkums) Attorneys in 2010.  With nearly 10 years debt collection experiencing she attributes her high success rate in debt collection to that of perseverance that pays off. In addition to specialising in debt collection, Yolandi manages various general aspects of the firm’s office.

Sharon Leal joined Hunts (Inc. Borkums) Attorneys in April 2019 as a Legal and Compliance secretary.  Sharon obtained her National Certificate in Labour Relations in 2021. Sharon has been in the law industry for 13 years and gained extensive experience in the legal field. Sharon’s role is to support Hunts Attorneys with all administrative tasks which is required to help the firm function to its full potential. Sharon answers any challenge with a positive attitude and her attention to detail ensures the upkeep of daily order in the practice.

After receiving her National Senior Certificate (NSC)  – matriculation certificate she studied for her National Diploma in Accountancy at the university of Johannesburg, unfortunately not completing the diploma. She worked as a collection’s agent at JD Financial services for 2 years and thereafter joined The Workforce Group for 5 years. Showing an interest in administrative duties she was promoted to the receptionist for Hunts Attorneys in November 2021. Phakama’s role is to support all staff members with the necessary administrative support. She is dedicated and performs her duties with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

Joanette holds B.Comm (Accounting) and LLB degrees respectively from North West University and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2008. Thereafter she specialized in both labour and commercial law and have attained Master Degrees in both fields.

She joined Hunts (Inc. Borkums) Attorneys in 2008, where she gained extensive experience in both labour and commercial law. In 2010 she was appointed as Head of Hunts (Inc. Borkums) Attorneys and managed the firm until March 2021. Thereafter Joanette stayed on as an external consultant in the Labour and Commercial Department.

Joanette is passionate about the law and creating commercial solutions for clients. Joanette believes that in order to ensure sustainability, clients need to partner with experts on legal and commercial problems.
